Wooden Bowl #2

The second bowl I made is this Black Walnut beauty!
It measures 3″ (7.6cm) by 6.5″ (16.5cm) and weighs 20 ounces (567g).

I think Black Walnut is one of the most beautiful hardwoods. “The beautifully pronounced grain pattern creates a mesmerizing interplay of light and shadow.”!

It is finished with UV-curable resin, an expensive finish that cures exceptionally scratch-resistant. The resin is inert and will not affect the flavors of foods. Hand-wash only; it is not oven – or microwave-safe.

Poorly made Wooden bowls can be bought cheaply on Amazon. My bowls are as much Art as wooden bowls. Each one is meticulously designed and executed by my hands only. They all have my Maker’s Medallion in the base and will be collectible after I am gone. No two wooden bowls I make will be exactly alike, all my creations are originals.
